Videocon’s Connect Broadband partners with MobiKwik

New Delhi, Feb 20 (IANS) Telecom arm of Videocon Groups Connect Broadband on Monday announced its collaboration with domestic mobile wallet major MobiKwik to promote cashless digital transactions.

"Currently, only about 29 per cnt of our customers are using digital modes to make their bill payments and I am sure that with this unique tie-up, the percentage will climb up to 50 per cent within next couple of months," said Arvind Bali, CEO of Connect Broadband, in a statement.

As part of this tie-up, Connect broadband users can also avail cash back up to Rs 150 or 15 per cent of the bill amount on paying through MobiKwik.

"We are proud to partner with Connect Broadband in their endeavor to go cashless and join the digital revolution currently taking place in our country," added Vineet K. Singh, Chief Business Officer of MobiKwik.

The MobiKwik app is currently available in eight languages -- English, Hindi, Gujarati, Bengali, Oria, Punjabi, Tamil and Telugu -- on the app's lighter variant MobiKwik LITE.
