Cairo, Feb 20 (IANS) The Indian Embassy here will bring together youths, academicians, culture lovers and civil society in a seminar to discuss issues of mutual interest to India and Egypt.
The Maulana Azad Centre for Indian culture (MACIC) of the Indian Embassy in Cairo will organise a seminar on "Cooperation in Entrepreneurship between India and Egypt" on February 23, according to a statement released on Monday.
Both India and Egypt have a huge untapped potential in entrepreneurship, the biggest asset for both being the youths, who increasingly are willing to take more risks and travel on the roads untraveled hitherto, the statement said.
The entrepreneurship ecosystems in both the countries have come a long way. India became the hub for thousands of start-ups spreading across sectors like e-commerce, software as a solution, food processing, IT solutions, social entrepreneurship etc, it added.
This edition of the round table will be focusing on understanding the present ecosystems in both the countries in terms of opportunities available, progress made so far and challenges facing them.
It will further discuss how the entrepreneurs, academia, incubators and other players from both the countries can collaborate and work together to attain tangible outcomes in the near future.
Eminent speakers at the event will elaborate on the theme followed by an interactive session with the audience.
