Warm Saturday in Delhi, misty Sunday morning likely


New Delhi, Feb 18 (IANS) The national capital experienced a warm day on Saturday with the maximum temperature settling at 30.1 degrees Celsius, six notches above the season's average, the Met office said.

It has however, forecast a misty morning for Sunday.

"There would be mist or haze on Saturday morning while the day ahead is likely to witness partially cloudy sky," an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said.

The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to hover around 30 and 15 degrees Celsius, respectively.

It was a pleasant Saturday morning in the city with the minimum temperature recorded at 14.4 degrees Celsius, three notches above the season's average, while the humidity oscillated between 100 and 36 per cent.

Friday's maximum temperature was 27 degrees Celsius, three notches above the season's average, while the minimum temperature settled at 15.4 degrees Celsius, four notches above the season's average.
