New Delhi, Feb 17 (IANS) The national capital witnessed cloudy skies on Friday with the maximum temperature settling at 27 degrees Celsius, three notches above the season's average, the Met office said.
It has, however, forecast a misty morning for Saturday.
"There would be mist or haze on Saturday morning while the sky would be partly cloudy during the day," an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said.
The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to hover around 27 and 15 degrees Celsius, respectively.
It was a pleasant Friday morning in the city with the minimum temperature recorded at 15.4 degrees Celsius, four notches above the season's average, while the humidity oscillated between 81 and 52 per cent.
Thursday's maximum temperature was recorded at 27.6 degrees Celsius, three notches above the season's average, while the minimum temperature settled at 13 degrees Celsius, two notches above the season's average.
