Bengaluru, Feb 15 (IANS) Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) is likely to increase the range of its BrahMos supersonic cruise missile to 450 km from existing 290 km, its chief S. Christopher said on Wednesday.
Christopher said that the missile, which can be launched from submarines, ships, aircraft or land, with the enhanced range was expected be tested around March 10.
BrahMos is a joint venture between the Russia's NPO Mashinostroeyenia and India's DRDO.
