Rio de Janeiro, Feb 14 (IANS) Brazil head coach Tite and members of his backroom staff have embarked on a week-long tour of Europe to monitor national team footballers and those on the cusp of selection.
Among the matches that Tite and his top assistant, Edu Gasper, will attend are Paris Saint-Germain (PSG)'s clash with Barcelona and Bayern Munich's duel with Arsenal in the UEFA Champions League, reports Xinhua.
"It's good to reinforce that we don't stop analysing players," Gaspar said in a statement published on the Brazilian Football Confederation's (CBF) website on Monday.
"I'm certain that this will add to the work that we have been doing and improve our dialogue with the coaching staff of (European) clubs."
Other members of Tite's staff will watch matches involving Real Madrid, Valencia, Juventus, Porto and Inter Milan over the next six days, the CBF said.
Brazil's next competitive fixture will be their 2018 World Cup qualifier against Uruguay in Montevideo on March 20. A victory at the Estadio Centenario will guarantee the Selecao a berth at next year's World Cup in Russia.
