New Delhi, Feb 13 (IANS) Budget passenger carrier SpiceJet on Monday announced the launch of a direct flight on the Delhi-Bangkok route, which will be operational from April 15.
The airline has offered an all-inclusive one-way fare for the Delhi-Bangkok route starting at Rs 7,999 and for the Bangkok-Delhi route at Rs 8,633.
"Bangkok is one of the most sought after international destinations and we have always received a very positive response on the introduction of any new flight for this sector," Shilpa Bhatia, Senior Vice President, Commercial, SpiceJet, said in a statement.
"A daily direct flight between Delhi-Bangkok-Delhi route will provide a very convenient option for both business and leisure travellers."
According to the low cost carrier (LCC), the new flight will connect the cities of Jaipur, Srinagar, Chandigarh, Dehradun, Jammu, Gorakhpur, Dharamsala, Surat and Jabalpur through convenient onward connections to Bangkok from Delhi.
Currently, SpiceJet operates an average of 343 daily flights to 45 destinations, including 39 domestic and six international.
