Power failure delays metro services
New Delhi, Feb 13 (IANS) Commuters faced delays on Monday after a power failure hit Delhi Metro's Yellow Line.

Train services on the Central Secretariat-Badli section faced disruption and delays for about 20 minutes until 12.40 p.m., the Delhi Metro Rail Corp said in a statement.

It cited power failure as the primary reason for the disruption and blamed Delhi Transco Ltd (DTL).

The power failure led to tripping of the Overhead Electrification (OHE) two or three times, disturbing train movements on the section.

It also led to an "interlocking issue" between Jahangirpuri and Model Town stations due to which the Operation Control Centre (OCC) was unable to give right signals to the trains.

The Yellow Line runs all the way from Badli in north Delhi to Huda City Centre in Gurgaon in adjoining Haryana.
