Srinagar, Feb 7 (IANS) A teacher and four students were injured on Tuesday in an alleged assault by soldiers at a government-run coaching centre in Pulwama district of Jammu and Kashmir.
Doctors treating the injured said the teacher had suffered two broken teeth.
Locals said the Army personnel entered the coaching centre in Lassipora area after some students reportedly jeered at and pelted stones at a passing army vehicle.
Students later came out on the road to protest against the incident and shouted slogans against the army.
The centre has been established under the Chief Minister's Super 50 coaching scheme.
