Ambedkar’s statue partially vandalised in Haryana

Gurugram, Feb 7 (IANS) A statue of Dalit icon B.R. Ambedkar was found partially damaged in Haily Mandi area near Pataudi, around 28 km from Gurugram city on Tuesday, police said.

The bust of the principal architect of India's constitution, popularly known as Baba Saheb, was installed in the premises of Ambedkar Bhawan in the area.

The officials also assured all possible help to the community and said that a new statue will be installed soon.
