New Delhi, Jan 23 (IANS) It was a clear and warm day on Monday as the maximum temperature settled at 24.6 degrees Celsius, three notches above the season's average, with the weatherman predicting a partly cloudy Tuesday.
"Tuesday will be partly cloudy, with shallow or moderate fog likely in the morning," an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) told IANS.
According to the weather office, the maximum and minimum temperatures on Tuesday will hover around 24 and 11 degrees Celsius, respectively.
Monday's minimum temperature was recorded at 10 degrees Celsius, two notches above the season's average.
The minimum and maximum humidity of the day ranged between 59 and 100 per cent, respectively, the weather office said.
Sunday's maximum temperature stood at 23.8 degrees Celsius, three notches above the season's average, while the minimum temperature was 8.4 degrees Celsius, one notch above the average for this time of the season.
