HCL Concerts organises contemporary Indian classical music event


New Delhi, Jan 19 (IANS) Dedicating an evening to the contemporary Indian classical music, the HCL Concerts musical event will be held here on Friday.

The evening is set to witness artiste Ujwal Nagar perform along with other artistes like Rohit Prassanna, Gaurav Chintamani, Anil Chawla and Tarit Pal, at the India Habitat Centre here.

Nagar has earlier featured in Coke Studio India with band Advaita, MTV Unplugged series and the music television series 'The Dewarists'.

"At HCL, our core brand philosophy is to touch lives and this is at the centre of all our brand initiatives including HCL Concerts. Over the last 18 years, HCL Concerts has supported the reinvigoration of the Indian classical performing arts, with a view to give talented and emerging artistes an opportunity to showcase their talents and for audiences," Sundar Mahalingam, Chief Strategy Officer, HCL Corporation, said in a statement.
