New Delhi, Jan 6 (IANS) State-run Bharat Earth Movers Ltd (BEML) on Friday said that it has received an in-principal approval of the Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs (CCEA) for divestment of 26 per cent of the government stake.
The government has communicated 'in-principal' approval of the CCEA for strategic disinvestment of 26 per cent equity shares out of government's shareholding of 54.03 per cent, the public sector undertaking (PSU) said in a BSE filing here.
"The said shareholding would be sold to the strategic buyers to be identified by the government by following due procedure," the statement added.
