New Delhi, Dec 23 (IANS) Owing to track maintenance, the Delhi Metro services on the Dwarka Sector 21 to Noida City Centre and Vaishali line will be slightly delayed on December 25, the DMRC said on Friday.
The train services between Yamuna Bank and Indraprastha stations will be run on a single line between 12 p.m. and 3 p.m. on the said date.
"This is to facilitate the scheduled track maintenance work on Up Line (going towards Dwarka) between these two stations, which has to be undertaken during day time only due to ambient temperature constraints," the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) said in a statement.
During this period the frequency of trains will remain around eight minutes and trains will bring passengers from both ends, Dwarka Sector-21 and Noida or Vaishali, to Indraprastha and Yamuna Bank stations, respectively. From there the commuters will be shuttled for one station (from Yamuna Bank to Indraprastha and vice-versa) in a train-shuttle service, organised for this very purpose.
The passengers then can take their respective trains from either station.
For the rest of the day the services will remain normal, DMRC added.
