Seoul, Dec 19 (IANS) South Korea on Monday returned eight sailors and two North Korean vessels that were rescued by its Coast Guard, Seoul's Unification Ministry said.
Ministry spokesman Jeong Joon-hee said the North Korean sailors and ships were rescued last week, Xinhua news agency reported.
All communication hotlines between the two Koreas have been cut off by Pyongyang after Seoul shut down the inter-Korean factory park in North Korea's border town of Kaesong.
