New Delhi, Dec 15 (IANS) The Rajya Sabha was on Thursday adjourned for the day amid sloganeering and counter-sloganeering by the opposition and treasury benches on demonetisation, plight of farmers and AgustaWestland chopper deal.
As soon as the house met at 2 p.m. after three earlier adjournments, opposition members trooped near the Chairman's podium while members from the treasury benches started shouting slogans over the AgustaWestland case.
Amid the din, the house was adjourned for the day.
