Mumbai, Dec 15 (IANS) Dutch electronic music DJ duo Thom Jongkind and Idir Makhlaf, together known as Blasterjaxx, will be joining the multi-genre music festival Absolut Enchanted Valley Carnival (EVC) at the Aamby Valley City this weekend.
Devraj Sanyal, Managing Director and CEO of Universal Music Group, South Asia, told IANS: "I'm thrilled to announce the mighty electro house Blasterjaxx as our fifth headliner who join Alan Walker, Arijit Singh, Farhan Akhtar and Flo Rida."
The Blasterjaxx members started their musical voyage from 2010 and released their first EP titled "Reborn EP" in 2012 followed by "Koala EP" and many singles like "Faith", "Legend Comes to Life", "Big Bird" among others.
They also collaborated with various artistes like David Guetta, Hardwell, Afrojack, Nicky Romero, Quintino Ibranovski and others.
This year, EVC, scheduled for Saturday and Sunday, has a line-up of live shows by Flo Rida, a 37-piece symphony orchestra band, with Arijit Singh, Farhan Akhtar and his band Farhan Live and an electronic dance music experience by Alan Walker alongside Badshah, Arjun Kanungo, MOJOJOJO, Lost stories and more.
The fest, which was started in 2013, will also offer adventure sports activities, food and camping experience.
