Gurugram, Dec 10 (IANS) Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar on Saturday said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi's decision to demonetise high-value currency notes has given sleepless nights to those who purportedly have black money.
He said, now they were managing and finding ways, but who knows what will happen after December 31 (the last date of depositing scrapped currency notes in banks).
Khattar was speaking in the inaugural session of the two-day annual National Convention of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) organised at Government College here.
He exhorted the Chartered Accountants (CAs) to aim for success of the country and society along with their own success.
Khattar urged new Chartered Accountants to take a pledge that they will work in the interest of the nation and propagate this ideology to take the country forward in the 21st century.
