New Delhi, Dec 5 (IANS) Five persons, including two juveniles, were arrested by Delhi Police for killing two youths in separate incidents in South Delhi, police said on Monday.
They said the accused, members of a gang, have been identified as Rahul, 18, Gajendra, 19, Kamal Kishor, 20, and two juveniles wanted in various cases of robbery, murder, attempt to murder, abetment to suicide, molestation and other crimes.
Police nabbed them in multiple raids in Sangam Vihar late on Sunday night, a senior police officer said.
The accused had killed Feroze, 19, after multiple attacks with a screw driver at a public school in Devli area on the intervening night of Saturday and Sunday, he said.
"During the interrogation, they told police that they killed Feroze over a past dispute with the two juvenile gang members," Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Romil Baaniya said.
Feroze, whose body was found near a school here on Sunday morning, helped his father in an automobile workshop in the same area.
He had been missing since Saturday night.
Rahul told police that the gang was also involved in the killing of a 23-year-old youth Hemraj. Hemraj was a resident of Tigri and was abducted by them last week. They killed him over an altercation with a gang member, Baaniya said.
They later buried Hemraj's body in Asola Bird Sanctuary in Sangam Vihar, the DCP said.
One of the juveniles in police custody wanted to commit more crimes before turning 18, so as to escape the clutches of the law. He is going to turn 18 within a few days, police said.
The sixth accused, also a juvenile, is on the run. A search is on to nab him, Banniya added.
