Mumbai, Dec 4 (IANS) Fitness trainer Rakesh Udiyar, who recently worked on superstar Aamir Khans fitness regime for the forthcoming film "Dangal", says Indian trainers need more exposure.
Udiyar told IANS, "Outside India, they have a whole fitness industry there. In the US, the amount of exposure you get is huge. Every year, I go there to learn some new techniques. Their culture is different, their science is also advanced."
"Indian trainers need more exposure like the West. In US, they have a great technology. Here we have knowledge but we are lacking in lot of areas," he added.
Aamir gained 97 kg for his role as Mahavir Phogat in "Dangal" and then dropped 20 kg for it.
Udiyar, one of the fitness trainers who worked on the actor's regime, said: "Aamir sir is so dedicated towards his work that whatever you tell him, he will do it. He adapts the entire process of workout so, the journey with him was fabulous."
