San Francisco, Nov 29 (IANS) The San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency (SFMTA) was victim of a ransomware attack that disrupted some its internal computer systems including email.

Neither customer privacy nor transaction information were compromised, Xinhua news reported on Tuesday.
This is an ongoing attack that started on November 25, targeting the SFMTA from which the hacker has demanded 100 Bitcoin, equivalent to about $73,000.
