New Delhi, Nov 27 (IANS) A fire broke out near the office of the North Delhi Power Limited (NDPL) in Samaypur Badli area in Rohini West of north Delhi, police said on Sunday.
"An information about fire breaking out in the cable rolls outside the NDPL office in Rohini Sector-18 was received at the fire control room at around 12.45 p.m," they said.
Fifteen fire tenders were rushed to the spot, a fire officer said.
The fire was doused soon and no casualty was reported in the incident, he added.
Earlier, the fire officer had wrongly reported that the fire had broken out in "NTPC plant at Rohini on Sunday afternoon".
National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC) officials denied that they have any plant in Rohini area.
