Los Angeles, Nov 26 (IANS) Actor Thomas Haden Church says for him "acting was all by osmosis".
Haden Church is an actor, director and writer who is widely known for his role as "Spider-Man 3" villain 'Sandman'. He also starred in "We Bought A Zoo", "George of the Jungle", "Sideways" and "All About Steve".
"I actually never had any training; I did a little bit of acting in high school and college, then I worked in advertising, which led to a voiceover career. That is why I moved to LA, to get a bigger stage in terms of voiceovers. Acting was all by osmosis," Haden Church said in a statement.
He added: "I got an audition. I got a movie, and worked on a movie set for three weeks and I played a character. Then I was like, wow. I'm moving to LA. Now, I just do it with my own facility of creating characters, and hopefully they're believable and not stupid."
At present, the actor is seen on the TV show "Divorce". He plays the lead character, who is Sarah Jessica Parker's husband in the show. It is aired in India on Star World Premiere HD.
