Explosions hit government office in Myanmar

Yangon, Nov 25 (IANS) Two minor explosions rocked Myanmar's Yangon regional government office on Friday evening, police said.

According to police, the explosions took place at around 7 p.m. in the office building, which lies in Dagon township. No casualties have so far been reported, Xinhua news agency reported.

During an emergency search of the building, police found two home-made M-150 chemical bombs which they believe caused the explosions near the immigration department.

The blasts are the third in Yangon within five days following two similar ones at Thakayta township's Capital market and south Dagon township's immigration office.
