New Delhi, Nov 24 (IANS) Lok Sabha Speaker Sumitra Mahajan adjourned the House till 12 noon soon after it met on Thursday as Opposition members trooped towards the speaker's podium and shouted slogans against the demonetisation of high-value currency.
The Speaker requested members to return to theirs seats but they refused.
Samajwadi Party leader Akshay Yadav hurled papers towards the reporters' table.
Earlier, there was an obituary reference to former Madhya Pradesh Governor Ram Naresh Yadav.
