CISF reunites child with parents at Delhi Metro station

New Delhi, Nov 22 (IANS) Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) personnel reunited a four-year-old girl with her parents at a Delhi Metro station, an official said on Tuesday.

Arti was standing near the security point unpaid area at Chandni Chowk metro station when a CISF constable noticed her around 5 p.m. on Monday.

"As the child was unable to tell anything except that her parents were standing in the queue for security check, the CISF constable Pankaj Kumar raised an alarm and informed his senior officers," CISF spokesperson Manjit Singh said.

The officer said they immediately made an announcement about the child at the security point and got to know through a person in the queue that her parents might have gone outside the Metro station searching for her.

"Constable Pankaj took the child with him outside where he saw a couple crying and confused near the stairs. He reunited the child with the couple when she confirmed that they were her parents."
