Rio De Janeiro, Nov 20 (IANS) Four police officers were killed on Saturday when their helicopter crashed in an anti-drug operation in the Brazilian coastal city of Rio de Janeiro.
The incident occurred near the city's western favela of Ciudad de Dios, following a gunfight between alleged drug traffickers and the police, Xinhua news agency reported.
The Military Police helicopter, which was aiding police on the ground, was attempting to make a forced landing when it crashed.
