Bhopal, Nov 3 (IANS) Eight persons were arrested on Thursday for hunting the Blackbuck and other animals, with their skin, meat and antlers by forest department of Raisen district in Madhya Pradesh, official sources said.
According to sources, a squad of the forest department raided a farm house in Sagar village and arrested eight persons among who, one belongs to Jabalpur, two are from Bhopal and five are residents of Raisen.
At the farm house, 5 kg of meat, skin and antlers of Blackbuck, Rabbit skin, 250 gm meat of partridge, one loaded gun, one shotgun, four air guns, one air pistol, a Maruti Swift car and a jeep have been confiscated.
