The store defines the core essentials of the Shantanu & Nikhilbrand - structure, linearity, minimalism, drapes - it is modernistic yetIndian. The vintage grey sadarali tiles and rustic brass metal details of the space compliments their razor-sharp tailoring and fluid designs. The label desires to encapsulate nostalgia and an Indian essence infused with eclectic use. Structure and shape are elements integral to masculinity and subtleness and thus can be seen in the store. The Shantanu & Nikhil muse is sophisticated,contemporary in thought with the non-assumptions balance between the exterior and within. One of the designer duo's recent two powerful shows “The Matador’sMistress” womenswear collection and “the men’s only runway showcase, ''TheMutiny 1919" at Lakme Fashion Week in Mumbai was a fantastic mix of high-octane couture and patriotism, that left many in the audience speechless…from creating a glamorous fashion mutiny on the ramp to being one of the only few designers in India to give contemporary fashion its own unique identity.The new venue will house the line’s complete range of men’s&women’s apparel, accessories, and footwear - both couture and occasion.
