New Delhi, Nov 2 (IANS) Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal was on Wednesday evening detained by police after he tried to meet the family of a retired soldier who committed suicide, the AAP said.
Delhi Tourism Minister and AAP leader Kapil Mishra tweeted that Kejriwal had been detained by Delhi Police when he tried to go to a police station where the dead soldier's family had been detained earlier.
Kejriwal's aide Ashish Talwar separately tweeted: "Power drunk (Narendra) Modi and his police are losing it. Detained Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal is unconstitutional and illegal."
The police earlier detained Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia after he met the family of ex-serviceman Ram Kishan Grewal, who committed suicide on Tuesday, and Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi when he tried to get in touch with the grieving family.
