Islamabad, Nov 1 (IANS) Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) founder Hafiz Saeed says the political crisis in Pakistan is "an Indian conspiracy" aimed at diverting global attention from the Jammu and Kashmir situation.
The Dawn on Tuesday quoted him as saying in Karachi that "the political crisis, violent protests and the rulers' aggressive response to anti-government protests were all affecting the Kashmir cause.
"If you go through analytically, in all that panic and crisis-like situation, the Kashmir issue has disappeared from the national scene," he added.
Saeed, whose LeT was blamed for the 2008 Mumbai terror attack that killed 166 people, regretted that it seemed the people of Pakistan had forgotten the plight of Kashmiris in India.
