New Delhi, Nov 1 (IANS) Arnab Goswami, Editor-in-chief of Times Now, announced on Tuesday that he is quitting the Times Group, employees of the news channel said.
Goswami made the announcement at a meeting with Times Now employees.
Some of the employees IANS spoke to said Goswami took questions after announcing that he had resigned.
They said he referred to launch of Times Now in 2006 and said: "We disrupted the industry" and it will be done again.
"The game has just begun," the employees quoted Goswami as saying.
Goswami anchors prime time TV show "The Newshour" which is known for its intense and aggressive style of questioning.
With news doing the rounds that Goswami has quit, Times Now channel ran a ticker "Arnab Goswami is back tonight."
