New Delhi, Oct 29 (IANS) Vice President Hamid Ansari on Saturday greeted people on the occasion of Diwali.
"I extend my warm greetings and good wishes to the people of our country on the auspicious occasion of Deepawali, the festival of lights," Ansari said in a message.
"Celebrated with traditional fervour and zeal, Deepawali signifies the victory of good over evil and reaffirms our faith in the noble and virtuous life of Lord Rama.
"May this festival bring peace, harmony, prosperity and happiness in our lives," he added.
