Was fantastic to work in ‘Mughal-e-Azam’: Sunil Palwal

Mumbai, Oct 28 (IANS) Actor Sunil Palwal, who recreated the iconic Prince Salim on the stage in Feroz Abbas Khan's musical play "Mughal-e-Azam", has said the experience of bringing the cult classic on stage was fantastic.

"The whole process was amazing. Because you go for script discussion, meeting actors, building a communication with co-actors and finally giving life to a character. It was a fantastic experience," he said.

However, Sunil believes it is difficult to make a remake of K. Asif's epic romantic saga, which featured Dilip Kumar, Madhubala and Prithviraj Kapoor.

"Just the way you can't build another Taj Mahal, you can't remake this film," he said.

Sonal Jha, who essays the character of Jodha, shared her experience working with director Feroz Abbas Khan. "When we needed to be disciplined and organised, he was like that. We maintained that decorum. at other times, we had fun rehearsing the play. We, the entire cast, share a great bond."
