New Delhi, Oct 24 (IANS) Politicians and actors might find hecklers annoying but for stand-up comedian Abhijit Ganguly, they can make a show great.
"I revel hecklers. I feel that they can make average shows great. Taking down a heckler is one of the greatest satisfactions in the comedy world," Ganguly told IANS in an e-mail interview.
Comedian Jeeveshu Ahluwalia had a funny response to how he deals with hecklers.
"I usually kidnap them and slap them silly," he said.
The two comedians will appease your humorous self with their spontaneity and hilarious act at Gurggaon's Hard Rock Cafe on October 25 at 9.30 p.m.
Showing great excitement about the upcoming show, Ganguly said: "I am pepped up for the show. It's going to be a crazy ride of laughs and jaw aches for the audiences. We would show some special love to those sitting in the first few rows."
"I always wanted to feel like a rockstar and guess this is the closest it will get for us comedians. Now all that is left is Groupies for stand-up too," he said jokingly.
Ganguly said that he is forever making observations and small notes abount everything happening around and in a country like ours, there's always something or the other happening.
Ahluwalia commented on the show saying: "Hardrock has been an iconic venue for many years for live entertainment especially with regard to music and is respected world over. The crowd that it caters to are absolute rockstars and it is always a privilege to perform there."
He feels that as a comedian there is a need and urge to create humour in every moment.
"As a comic, you don't have a switch off mode so it is hard and equally funny to be looking at things in a way no normal person does."
"If people don't laugh, I try harder and come back funnier," he added.
