Man held for trespassing NSG’s Manesar campus

Gurgaon, Oct 20 (IANS) A 25-year-old man arrested on the charge of trespassing the National Security Guard's (NSG) Manesar campus in the district has been sent in judicial custody by a district court.

Krishan Kumar was handed over to Gurgaon police after he trespassed into the NSG campus on Wednesday and was caught by elite counter-terrorism force's commandos.

He told the police his name but his address could not be known as he kept changing his statement on the matter.

According to sources, he first told the police he is a resident of Gurgaon's Naharpur Nwada village. Later, he said he was living in the shanties near the village.

The Investigation Officer told IANS he was taken to the addresses he mentioned but his address could not be confirmed.

Instead of taking him on remand for further investigation, Kumar was on Thursday presented in a local court, which remanded him in 14-day judicial custody. The sources said the police did not seek his police custody.

A case under Section 451 of Indian Penal Code was registered at the Manesar police station on the complaint of Major Anand Saswal of the NSG station headquarters.
