NxtGen adopts Cloudera analytics platform


New Delhi, Oct 19 (IANS) US-based analytics platform provider Cloudera announced on Wednesday that Cloud services firm NxtGen has adopted Cloudera Enterprise as the backbone of their new "Analytics as a Service" offering which will be available from nine data centres across India.

"Analytics as a Service" offers NxtGen customers access to a one-stop shop where they can store unlimited amounts of data.

Customers can run analytics tool of their choice to gain value from data, all within the same platform.

"NxtGen's customers will be able to use data analytics to build predictive models for more informed decision-making and better engage with their own customers," Amr Awadallah, Founder and Chief Technology Officer, Cloudera, said in a statement.

As part of the agreement, Cloudera will also support NxtGen in the setup of a "Centre of Excellence for Big Data Analytics" in Bengaluru.
