Los Angeles, Oct 19 (IANS) Actor Joseph Gordon-Levitt, best known for his roles in films like "Inception", "Don Jon" and "Snowden", has been roped in to star in the upcoming science-fiction thriller "Sovereign".
The film will be directed by British filmmaker Marc Munden.
Munden will direct from a script that's being re-written by Jack Thorne from a draft by Geoff Tock and Gregory Weidman, reports variety.com.
Gordon-Levitt will portray a man whose marriage has disintegrated and who seeks to locate his wife and the crew of a space station after they disappear.
Gordon-Levitt was last seen in "Snowden" as the whistleblower Edward Snowden.
Munden's credits include TV mini-series "National Treasure" and directing episodes of British TV series "Utopia" and "The Crimson Petal and the White".
