New Delhi, Oct 19 (IANS) An Mi-17V-5 helicopter of the Indian Air Force (IAF) force-landed soon after takeoff in Badrinath town of Uttarakhand on Wednesday, officials said.
However, no one was injured in the crash.
An IAF spokesperson said the chopper, carrying around 15 personnel, was force-landed soon after the takeoff around 9.25 a.m.
"All crew members and passengers are safe. No civilian casualty or damage to property has been reported," the spokesperson said.
Officials said the chopper was on a routine mission and that all passengers were service personnel.
A court of inquiry has been ordered.
Earlier this month, the IAF's Jaguar fighter jet crashed in Rajasthan's Pokhran area, but the pilot managed to eject safely.
