New Delhi, Oct 17 (IANS) The Delhi government will provide mobile tablets to all teachers in government-run schools to prepare attendance, results and other records, an official said on Monday.
"This will help teachers in preparing attendance, results and other records," the media advisor to Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia told IANS.
Sisodia has asked the education and IT departments to make the required arrangements, the official said.
The tablets will help in facilitating clerical work in the schools and will automatically inform the parents if their child is present or absent in class.
The Delhi government runs 1,024 schools in the national capital.
