Chennai, Oct 9 (IANS) Poonam and Priyanka Shah, popular twin choreographers based in Georgia, US, have been roped in to direct a dance sequence for the introduction scene of actor Arjun's upcoming Tamil romantic-drama "Kadhalin Pon Veedhiyil".
The siblings have created a huge storm with their dance videos which include "Ramta Jogi - Taal Dance" and "Bharatnatyam Fusion - VGo Carnatic Trap". They love to mix choreography and styles.
"There's an introduction scene, which we felt could be shot differently. After watching a video of the Shah sisters, we decided to bring them on board but we weren't sure if they would be interested. To our surprise, they were excited about the idea," Aishwarya Arjun, who plays the leading lady in the film, told IANS.
Poonam and Priyanka flew down to Mumbai to join the crew.
"It was fun working with the sisters. The song was shot in a Mumbai studio," she said.
Arjun is directing as well producing the film, which stars Chandan in the lead and the supporting cast features K. Vishwanath, Suhasini Mani Ratnam, Rajendran and Manobala.
