Mumbai, Oct 9 (IANS) Actor-filmmaker Ajay Devgn, whose directorial "Shivaay" will clash with Karan Johar's "Ae Dil Hai Mushkil" at the box office, admits he has issues with the filmmaker. But he says the reasons are "strictly personal".
In September, Ajay demanded an investigation against Karan, who allegedly paid actor Kamaal R. Khan Rs 25 lakh to tweet positively about "Ae Dil Hai Mushkil" and to write negative reviews for "Shivaay".
"We have our issues and that's strictly personal, and nothing professional. Those are personal issues and I don't want to talk about it," Ajay told IANS here.
The industry buzz is that Karan's "Ae Dil Hai Mushkil" could face trouble in getting a release as it stars Pakistani actor Fawad Khan. The Maharashtra Navnirman Sena has already threatened it won't let any film with Pakistani artistes release.
However, Ajay feels "Ae Dil Hai Mushkil" would not face a problem.
"It's unfair, because that film was made earlier. I don't think there should be an issue and that's why I feel there will not be an issue. Eventually, no films get banned... Films will release."
While "Shivaay" centres on the adventures of a Lord Shiva devotee, "Ae Dil Hai Mushkil" is said to be an intense story about unrequited love.
The films will release on October 28, two days before Diwali.
