Three killed as car falls into gorge in Uttarakhand

Dehradun, Oct 1 (IANS) Three persons were killed in Pithoragarh on Saturday when their vehicle fell into a deep gorge, police said.

The accident took place in the Gangolihaat area early morning when the driver of a WagonR car coming from Chahaj to Pannar, apparently lost control and the car skidded into a gorge.

An official informed that the police was trying to pull the car out from the gorge and added that three bodies had been pulled out from the crash site. The victims are yet to be identified.
