Granada coach Paco Jemez fired for poor results

Granada (Spain), Sep 28 (IANS) Spanish football club Granada on Wednesday fired its chief coach Paco Jemez for poor performance after the team managed only two points in the first six games of the season.

Jemez, who signed a contract last summer with Granada for three seasons, has led his last training session as coach and will hold a news conference later, reports Efe.

The club said that after studying the current situation and the results obtained the decision to dismiss the coach was unanimous.

Lluis Planaguma, the current coach of Granada B, will take over responsibility until the hiring of a new coach.
