Defence acquisition council clears proposals worth Rs 1,900 cr

New Delhi, Sep 28 (IANS) The Defence Acquisition Council, chaired by Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar, on Wednesday cleared proposals worth Rs 1,900 crore (close to $3 billion), including for an electronic warfare system for low intensity conflict in Jammu and Kashmir.

The electronic warfare system is worth Rs 330 crore, an official said.
