London, Sep 26 (PTI) Actress Sarah Jessica Parker shares her motherhood fears, saying she is genuinely nervous about raising two daughters.
The 51-year-old star revealed that she is terrified of her seven-year-old twins Loretta and Tabitha because young girls can be so mean to one another, reported Female First.
"I'm genuinely nervous about raising daughters. It's not terribly hard yet, thought I expect it will become more so just because I've seen girls not be very kind to each other.
"I'm hoping by the time they're older, there will be this shift and what will be fashionable will be to be kind to each other. I want them to be good to each other and their friends," she said.
Parker believes her concerns rise from her childhood when she used to be quite mean.
"I was mean, I'm sure I said things about people because I wanted to just be part of a tribe. I never liked the feeling, thought. But I think now, with mobile phones, it's different.
"I understand how you can get caught up in the meanness because you so want to be liked and you want to connect when you're young. It takes a lot of courage to stand up and say, 'I don't feel like that's a friendly choice.' Little girls are just trying to sort themselves out and they want to feel heard," she added.
