New Delhi, Sep 25 (IANS) Actress Dipika Kakar, known for "Sasural Simar Ka", says banning Pakistani artistes from working in India due to tensions between the two countries is no solution, and calls it "a really sad" move.
There are calls to ban Pakistan talent from India post a terror attack at Uri in Jammu and Kashmir in which 18 Indian soldiers were killed.
"I think there should be no rules and regulations when it comes to entertainment section," Dipika told IANS.
"There have been problems when people were banned to come here and work and vice versa...It is really sad," the actress added.
On Friday, the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) gave the ultimatum to Pakistani artistes working in India to leave within 48 hours, after the September 18 terror attack left 18 Indian soldiers killed at Uri in Jammu and Kashmir.
The party also warned it would not permit the release of any Bollywood films having Pakistani actors, including the upcoming "Ae Dil Hai Mushkil" and "Raees", which star Fawad Khan and Mahira Khan respectively.
