New Delhi, Sep 24 (IANS) The Rashtrapati Bhavan Museum Complex, which now includes the Garages Museum and Clock Tower in addition to the Stables Museum, will soon open for the public.
"The Museum Complex will open for public on October 2", according to an official statement released here on Saturday.
The Garage Museum was inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on July 25. The high-technology story-telling museum is spread over 10,000 square meters, according to the statement.
The museum depicts the story of the construction of Rashtrapati Bhavan -- from the British viceroys who had occupied it till 1947, to the transfer of power and the formation of Indian Republic.
It also presents the lives and works of 13 Indian Presidents since 1950.
The museum will be open on all days except Mondays.
