New Delhi, Sep 23 (IANS) Airbnb, a community-driven hospitality company on Friday announced that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Gujarat government aimed at boosting tourism and creating memorable travel experiences.
"Airbnb witnessed phenomenal growth in the state in 2015. We are delighted to partner with the Government of Gujarat to bring homestays and travel options in the state onto an international platform," said Amanpreet Bajaj, Country Manager of Airbnb India, in a statement.
To boost tourism, Airbnb would assist homestays across the state and provide information on the tourism resources and destinations in Gujarat.
