T. Kiran Kumar (28) hanged himself at his house in Miryalguda town.
According to police, Kumar had sustained a grievous injury on his leg while undergoing training at the Andhra Pradesh Police Academy here a few months ago and had to return home without completing the training.
Police were investigating the reasons for his extreme action.
